At our January meeting, members voted for the Photograph of the Year. Nick McDonald’s black and white image of a steam train took first place with no fewer than five images tying for second place. Click here to view the full results.

Nick also made a presentation on the techniques involved in capturing images of colliding water droplets.

The monthly competition, on the theme of “Through the glass” was won by Chris Harris with a stylish image of bananas refracting through glasses of water.

At the February meeting Tony Defriez will be demonstrating editing techniques using images to be submitted by members. The competition theme will be “Triangles”.
